Transport

Coach transport will be provided at no cost to registered full time students engaged in global change related work (incl post docs), and foreign nationals (students and post docs) who are NRF-funded and Part Time Students with particular financial needs. To qualify for free transport you are required to   present approved extended papers or posters.

Travel schedules and departure points will be communicated in the final announcement.

Note that Full Time Students engaged in global change related work (incl post docs), and foreign nationals (students and post docs) who are NRF-funded and Part Time Students with particular financial needs who apply for additional support for student attendance and who are travelling from remote locations will have the opportunity to request special travel arrangements in the registration process.

Accommodation

FULL TIME STUDENT ACCOMMODATION: NMMU Student Village

Full Time Students  engaged in global change related work (incl post docs), and foreign nationals (students and post docs) who are NRF-funded and Part Time Students with particular financial needs who will present approved extended abstracts will be provided with Residence 4/3/2 roomed units at no cost. All others, including Full Time Students who do not receive additional support for student attendance will need to pay for this accommodation.

The units are multi-roomed, with shared lounge and bathroom facilities but with individual bedrooms.

The accommodation will include breakfast daily and dinner on Thursday evening.

Please give some thought as to who you will be sharing with as this will be required when you complete your online registration.

Residence accommodation is available to other delegates at a cost (see below)

TRANSFERS
Airport transfers are available for all registered delegates between the airport and hotels or NMMU Campus will be available on Sunday 30 November and Monday 1 December and on Thursday afternoon / Friday morning. These will be determined by the flight schedules of those attending.
Details will be communicated to registered delegates.
